grid generation, obtaining flow field solutions, and post processing.
Grid Generation
- Techsburg's general purpose gridding software
- High-quality structured, unstructured, and hybrid meshes
- Imports CAD data in native formats
- Scripting language allows semi-automation for geometry iteration
- Commercial software by Pointwise, Inc.
- Three-dimensional structured grid generation software
- Specifically designed for turbomachinery blades (axial and centrifugal)
- Government software, developed by Dr. Roderick Chima of NASA Glenn Research Center
Our CFD engineers also have experience working with additional grid generation TM software such as ANSYS ICEMCFD, that can easily be obtained if necessary.
Flow Solvers
GASP® (General Aerodynamic Simulation Program)
- General purpose RANS CFD solver
- Commercial software by Aerosoft, Inc.
ADPAC (Advanced Ducted Propfan Analysis Codes)
- RANS CFD solver specifically designed for turbomachinery applications
- NASA software, developed by Allison Engine Company
